What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent most of my third transfer to buy 50 pieces of irons sheets and 6 bags of cement which am currently using to build my house since the one I was living in was old and almost falling down.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I would not have received the transfer, I would not have built a new house any time soon.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well in sending us transfers which has uplifted the living standards of recipients and developed the community. I have not sen anything that GD did not do well.

I am planning to spend my upcoming transfer on building a five roomed permanent house because at the moment am staying in a two roomed mud house that is almost collapsing.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
We're planning to spend our transfer on building a new house since the current one is small and Squeezed given the number of the family. We will buy cement,building blocks and pay for labour.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement we're proudest of is having been able to build our current house,we used to live in a rental house which was expensive.We also managed to buy one cow which has since given birth to one calf.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship we face now is on paying school fees for our two children in secondary school, one is in form three and the other in form two.This is difficult given that we have no other sources of income other than farming.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I'm cultivating my farm . This is the only source of income we have and as such I dedicate my time on it.
