What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my transfer on buying steel doors which I replaced with the wooden doors on my house. I then bought new bedding because my other bedding were old and worn out and were infested with bedbugs. I also bought a sofa set since I did not have nice seats for welcoming my guests and it was an embarrassment whenever I had guests I preferred they sat out of the house.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Give directly has given my life meaning, I was considered a hopeless person who could not achieve anything because of the poverty I was living in. I ahve managed to build a house and I am now into farming all because of the transfers sent to me by the organization. I would not be who I am were it not for this noble gesture and generosity.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, the organization are true to their word and do not change on the promises they give to their recipient unlike some organizations who tell you one thing and do another. I do not think anything needs changing
