What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on buying solar for my home and for my mother so that we can be saved from darkness and dangers of kerosene. I also invested part of the transfer in a coffee nursery bed to earn income for the family.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that I now have an income generating activity of the coffee nursery bed while I also have solar power in my home. My house has been repaired and my family is living decently.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give Directly does well to send transfers using mobile money to recipients in privately since this is a secure way.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on plastering house which was in poor conditions, bought plastic chairs and invested part of the money in coffee seedings for a more sustainable income.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Seeing myself becoming economically independent is the biggest difference in my life. I used part of my second transfer on a coffee nursery bed for self-sustainable income. I am going to put up a coffee plantation that will give me more income. I am happy.

I spent my first transfer on paying the remaining school fees for my children and also I did some house renovations. So am proud.

Am planning to spend my upcoming transfer on buying a land in urban centre because am in rural area and if possible I can also buy a cow.

I plan to build a kitchen buy basic nacessities and use balance for establishing a new coffee plantation.

The proudest achievement is this house and catering for my mother who is now 85yrs old.

The biggest hardship faced in life is the death of my father which struck me hard to the extent that all responsibility of caring for mammy is on me.

The happiest part of the day is at mid day when a iam with my mother feeding her and nursing her
