What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on applying rough caste to my house ( 21,000 KES) since the soil is porous and the walls kept on collapsing as it was just mud so I decided to make it stronger. I also paid primary school fee and a set of school uniform for my 6 children (12,400 KES) and a bag of dry corn for my family (8,500 KES)

I spent my second transfer on cementing the walls and floor of my house at 26,500 KES, bought a solar lamp at 13,000 KES, a sack of maize at 4,800 KES, paid 2,000 KES school fee for my four children in primary school then used the rest of the cash on food for the house.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I no longer mud smear my house now that it's cemented hence my children are not at risk of getting jigger infections. Am also not buying kerosene now that I have my solar lamps.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship could be overcoming my mother's passing away.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest moment of the day is early morning. It is happy to wake up and find yourself alive the next day.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
The transfer to me is a fulfillment of fish mongering business that I have been dreaming for decades. My family will no longer go hungry as it is now because this business will earn my family a living. Moreover, my house that is already set for collapse will be a foregone misery because I will be able to put up a new comfortable house structure for my family.
