How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
One of my new goals is to make a Cocoa farm. My wife and I are aging everyday so we are making this farm to help our children. Even when we answer God's call, there will be something left to help them while the next goal is to roof my  father in-law's house. We will remove the thatched and replace it with zinc because the thatched is old and the roof continues to leak daily.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly does well by giving us money to solve our problems. Some of us have been suffering despite all the good plans, we never had money to do all what we are doing now. It is through Givedirectly transfer, we are progressing.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent the second transfer on paying  school fees for my four children in secondary school and their big brother who is attending the junior college in Tubmanburg. I gave 11,000 Liberian dollars to complete his semester payment and hence I no longer owe the school anything. In addition, I gave him 2400LD towards his four months rent.I bought one bundle and four sheets of zinc for the amount of 14,000 LD to change my father-in-law's roof from thatched to zinc. I also used 2,950LD to purchase the plastic to put the cocoa in the nursery park and bought food with the balance money.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I will build a house for my family and start a business to support my children. The house I'm in currently is a family house and my children and I are stuck up in one room
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months what brought Joy to my life was in July when my my big daughter bought me a lappa and saw it for me. IT's been log since I wore a new clothes, and my daughter made it I was able to wear a New suit that she bought and sew for me.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My major challenge I'm facing currently is hunger. I work on people's farms to feed my children. My husband is a teacher but his salary is not much and it doesn't come on time,so most times we sleep on one meal a day which is unhealthy for my children's growths.
