How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that I would not have been in a position to build a house and buy a water tank for storing clean water for domestic use.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly does well by giving us unconditional cash transfer to buy all the basic needs. I did not find anything that GiveDirectly did not do well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spend part of my second transfer to built a better and spacious house for my family. We used to live in a small mud house that could not host all of us comfortably and the rest of the money I used it to buy furniture, food for the family and storeroom for storing feeds for my cow. I am so happy because our living standard has changed.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
We greatly thank God for this gift. Receiving the money means that we shall increase our herd of cows to boost our milk supply for household use and sale of surplus for additional revenue.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the mid-morning when we have successfully accomplished the day's farming activities. This means that our day is a success.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
It has been a great challange to do farming and reside in about 3/4 of an acre. The farm could hardly accommodate my family, livestock and crops. Besides, it is an infertile land that proves less productive. Hence, the inadequacy of land serves as the biggest challenge we have faced in life.
