Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is seeing that I was able to start up a personal business that is earning me a daily income and make my personal decisions regarding it. Prior to getting a transfer from GiveDirectly, I used to work in another person's saloon where by I had no say in anything regarding the business (most especially the little pay I was getting).
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I felt so happy that I knelt and thanked God for this kind of help.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer Ugx 1500000 to buy machinery, and a timber house that I used to start up men hair cut saloon. I then used the balance of my transfer and bought a bed and mattress at Ugx 200000.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will be able to marry a wife. It is one thing that I have always wanted to do but failed because I don't have money to facilitate the process.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest in the evening when I am seated with my brothers. We are able to encourage one another.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I am faced with is lack of oxen and an ox-plough to support in the farming activity. I don't have money that I could otherwise use to buy. This delayes my whole farming process because I have to use a how.
