What did you spend your first transfer on?
I used 4200 KES from my first transfer to buy a sack of dry maize for my family's food since we did not have enough food in the house. I then paid school levies and bought uniforms for my 3 grandchildren in. I then bought 4 seat cushions worth 1000 KES. The balance was spent on buying 2 hoes and cultivating my maize farm.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt happy the moment I received my money because I really needed cash to buy food for my family.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Getting food has been the biggest difficulty. The rains haven't been consistent and rain dependant farmers like us didn't reap anything. Supporting a family with no income is very difficult.
What is the happiest part of your day?
At night when I've finished all my tasks and I'm resting.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
It would mean a lot to me, as a family we are going to buy materials and construct an iron roofed house like other people.
