I spent my third transfer on building a strong house in which my family stays now.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that my family is sleeping well in a descent house and no more worries about bad weather or congestion.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what Give Directly does well is promoting joint planning for resources of the family and not conditioning the cash transfers. What Give Directly does not do well is leaving out some extremely vulnerable house holds in the community.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on buying iron bars, iron sheets and cement because I want to be able to build a presentable house and leave the grass thatched house i have been staying in. I also spent some of the money on paying school fees for my children.
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
I am planning to spend my next transfer on building an iron roofed house since the grass thatched house i have been staying in doesn't look presentable. I will also buy a solar panel to use for lighting and also for charging my phone since I find it costly to pay 300ugx everyday to someone with electricity for charging my phone.
