How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been because these days my family feeds on time. Food is easily availed unlike before.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, givedirectly has done well giving us money to uplift our livelihood through acquiring houses, livestock, wives, household items and improved feeding; there's nothing it hasn't done well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to buy a second hand taxi motorcycle, bought clothes for the children, and paid medical treatment.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that as a household we now own a motorcycle, my husband rides it for business and its already bringing money to the household.

The moment i received the transfer, i felt so happy and i ululated.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on purchase of a bajaj motorcycle for doing the boda boda business.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i face is lack of money for buying oxen. My household therefore delays each cropping season to plant crops,hence realising low crop yields at the end of the season.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of the day is afternoon, it's the atime i joke with my children.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
I plan to spend the transfers to purchase oxen for farming. These oxen will be used to plough gardens that my household shall plant crops.
