Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My life has improved because I can now afford to use capital intensive technology for farming. In addition, this season I have farmed on a large scale. I am scertain of having good yields. Before this cash transfer, I farmed on a small scale and used local tools which was time consuming.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I felt very happy because I had never held such an mount of money in my life.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I have spent my first transfer on renting farm land worth UGX 800,000, bought Agricultural seedlings worth UGX 220,000, paid labour worth UGX 430,000, bought food worth UGX 220,000 and hens worth UGX 30,000.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will be able to build an iron roofed house and buy a motorcycle so that I can offer boda-boda services. With this, I believe I will be able to generate income and support my family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest in the evening when I am at the centre seated with friends. We share ideas that build us as youths.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I am faced with is lack of land for cultivation. The portion of land that my father gave me only accommodates a home compound and nothing more. I don't have money to buy more so what I do majorly to support my family is casual labour. Devide whatever little I am able to earn atleast to see to it that I provide for my household.
