How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, I am a proud owner of a house that is the envy of many in my entire village. I used to live in a very old house that was on the verge of falling and was thatched so, my family would be rained on during the rainy season. People used to laugh at my hopelessness in the village and they thought I would never live under a well-built house. My casual labour only brought forth so little income, I could hardly think of buying building materials as I had so much in my plate with so little income it used to surprise me how my family survived that.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I do not have any new goal as I have used the transfer on building a new house and bought household items.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I never dreamt of ever living in a corrugated iron sheet roofed house before. When I received the first transfer, I went all the way and bought iron sheets and kept as I waited for the second round. The fact that I was able to buy the building materials and build a new hose that does not leak whenever it rains and can comfortably accommodate my family is the biggest difference in my daily life. I am now stress-free as I am not being rained on anymore as I have a very beautiful house that is practically the envy of many in my village.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to start up a business that would generate more income for the family. I have been having the idea of having a business for a long time but that was a far away dream. I pray that by the end of the next few months, I will have this business up and running so that I get to salvage the situation my family is in. For once, I believe I will have an easy flow of income in my house.

Am planning to buy iron sheets with the first transfer, I want to build a bigger and a better house compared to this grass thatched I have been staying in. When I receive the second transfer i want to use it for buying other building materials. I will use the remaining amount to buy 2 sacks of maize.

My proudest achievement is having been able to educate my children.I work for people in the farm and use the little money I get to educate them.
