What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on plastering my house that was made of earthen. I no longer have smear using cow dung and mud. I had also been using tin lamp and the cost of paraffin was so high as I had to buy it everyday,so I bought a solar lamp.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion,GiveDirectly does well by giving cash to the less fortunate. I have not seen anything they have not done well in.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Were it not for the money for the money I received from GiveDirectly,I could have not plastered my house neither bought a solar lamp.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I used a portion of the transfer to built a spacious iron roofed kitchen. Bought myself a mattress and a bed because I was only spreading some old clothes on the ground to catch a sleep. Paid my grandchild in primary school fee. I also purchased foodstuffs for family consumption.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I'm currently facing is how to get money to feed my family ,I also have a grandson who is a total orphan and currently in class eight.Im seriously worried of where I'll get money for school fees now that he will join high school should he pass his exams.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is in the evening when I've sought for food and at last able to prepare and share the same with my grandchildren.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means that a joyful life lies a head .This is because I have longed to run a business of my own and it's kind of a dream come true! I believe I'm going to live a changed life.
