What did you spend your second transfer on?
I have withdrawn the cash transfer and I am planning to pay off my loan worth 1,000,000 UGX and the balance I would like to spend it on plastering my house and buying household items.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly gave me cash that enabled me pay school fees and I also rennovated my house. There is nothing wrong that I can say about givedirectly because it has helped me alot.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am a widow who is helpless. Givedirectly brought a very big difference into my life because when they sent me the cash transfers I was able to purchase my household items which I could not afford before.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my transfer to buy house hold materials and beddings. Then I gave my son 200,000UGX to top up so that he can buy his motorcycle.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
That was the happiest day of my life and I have never been that happy.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My family is so far the happiest. We eat good food and we sleep on comfortable beds. This is something that we never thought would ever happen to us.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is lack of money for Educating my last born .who is studing in senior four since am a widow, it's very hard to get money when you are alone in the family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is during evening when my ground children come and visit me .because I feel happy to see them, when they are playing around my compound .
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money will help me to complete educate my last born who is studying in senior four this year.
