How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Different in my life is that I got what it would have taken long to acquire. the little saving which I make through the sale of milk wouldn't be enough to save and to achieve that which I did with the transfers I got. Thanks Give Directly.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
The procedure of enrollment was so transparent and no issue of corruption noticed during the process.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
The second transfers which I got from Give Directly, I spend part of it to buy furniture and clothing. The remaining potion I spend on buying food for the family and some utensils.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Paying school fees have given me a lot of peace of mind. MY children in school could not study well because they were being constantly sent home to collect school fees when I could not pay on time. But now they are in school all the time without any disturbances. I have really become a happy person, In addition to that, they dress well at home and even wear better school uniforms and eat well. They are healthier and nicer in school than before I received this transfer.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I received the message that notifies me about the payment form GiveDirectl at around noon while I was preparing meals for my family. ASsoon as my children come for the midday meal, I informed them about the good news This is because Imy joy was so much that I couldn't hide it. One of them wanted to know why I looked different that day. I told them that It was because GiveDirectly has delivered Joy and changed my life for good.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent the first transfer on building a house. I was living on a small hut that its roof was too old and its roof was leaking. So I bought iron roofing materials and timber for construction. I then pulled it down and quickly put up another one. I used apart of the money on paying labor charges for its construction. I also paid school fees for my child in secondary school and those in primary schools. I also bought food for my household and clothes for my self. The food I bought is a sack of maize that could last us for about three months.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will have enough milk for my family and even sell some for an extra source of income. It also means that I will be able to pay school fees for my daughter in secondary school since finding a casual job so as to have enough money for school fees and food is so hard. The income from will also help paying school fees and taking care of my family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is during the evening when my husband and children are back home from school and work. This is also the time of the day that I get to relax after along and tiresome day and be with my family.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest difference in my daily life is being unable to pay school fees for my daughter. There was a time my child would be sent home from school for school fees and I felt so helpless being unable to find money to pay. We live in a semi-arid location and we initially thought that doing agribusiness would help us get some money to enable us pay the school fees.
