What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent a larger portion of the transfer on building a new iron roofed house. Purchased a solar lamp for light provision. I also bought a cow with the rest of the transfer.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I now have a spacious house. Previously I had a very small house and it was the very place where my aged children were catching their sleep but now I managed even to built a kitchen where they sleep while my spacious main house hold all my belonging.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what GD does well is that it uplift the livelihood of the poor. At the moment, I'm not aware of anything GD doesn't do well.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my entire second transfer to buy building materials like iron sheets, nails and timber which I have used to build a big house because the one I had was small and was not enough for my family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I did not have any privacy in my house because I was sleeping with my children in the same house but now that I have a bigger house and my children also have a separate sleeping space there is privacy.

We are planning to build a bigger house since my house is too small but our family is large.

We do not have a steady income ,but we have managed to sustain our family needs.

Our biggest hardship is that we do not have steady income to sustain the bigger family and also paying school fees for our four children in primary school.

My happiest part of my day is spending time with my family.
