How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I can now take my children to school and we have a lot of food at home not as before when my children were at home for almost two years without going to school and having one meal a day.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Give Directly has done well by giving me money to take my children to school and feeding them.Give Directly has not done anything wrong.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I have spent my second transfer to plant rice on 2 acres of land at 400,000ugx and plan to use the balance to pay school fees for 3 children in secondary school at 750,000ugx.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is peace of mind, because i sleep with less stress now, my children go to school and we feed better than before.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment i received my money, i was so happy that i jumped up to celebrate, and i thank Almighty God for bringing givedirectly to us.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to pay labour for the work done in my gardens, bought a weed killing paste, paid school fees for both primary and secondary going children, and the balance food stuff.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i face is lack of money for building ironroofed house and buying oxen.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of the day is evening houres, i go to bed relaxed.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Recieving this money means to buy oxen and build ironroofed house. The oxen i will use for ploughing gardens which in turn shall increase on agriculture yieds and the house will provide decent accommodation for my family.
