Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
This financial help has enable me acquire the needed materials that will be used for renovating my house. Further more, I have paid all my children's school fees that has given me a peace of mind. Prior to receiving this transfer, I used to pay my children's fees in installments and they were often sent back home for school fees balance. I didn't have hope of renovating my house because all the money I got was spent for paying my children's fees, buying foodstuffs and for medical care.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I became very happy because I had got the money for renovating my house.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my transfer to purchase construction materials( doors, sand and cement) that I intend to use for renovating my house, I also paid my children's school fees and bought a water drum. I have not yet spend UGX 200,000 but I intend to spend it for paying construction workers.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means that I Will renovate my house. The house I'm living in was struck by a strong wind on the wall and it has left a big scar. This worries me a lot because if it continues to rain, the building is most likely to collapse. The balance of the money will be used to pay fees for my children. Though most of my children study in a government school, there are other financial demands that parents are expected to meet like buying books, uniform, meals, etc. Providing better education for my children will help them secure good employment opportunities in future.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is evening. It I the time when I am back from my place of work to join my family. It's therefore the time when everybody is at home and we tell stories and chat as a family.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is lack of school fees for my children. Sometimes the school authority like chasing my children back home due to failure to pay school fees on time.
