How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My first transfer was used to buy five bags of cement to plastic my house and was able to paid my children school fees and bought matress.My new goal is, i bought enough Clothes for my family because we been suffering no good sleeping place, no clothes ever food. I use to work for community members before I get food for my family.I am grateful because, i can now afford for my family.

I appreciate Givedirectly for making me to get my family life better than before.Through this money, My life is getting better.Givedirectly is fair and everything went well. I am satisfied with all Givedirectly process.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was sitting infront of my house when I received my first mobile money alert to my phone. I immediately ran to my husband and hugged him tightly. The both of us started to dance. I have been planning to plaster my house from dirt to cement but couldnot implement the plan due to hardship.I usually Plant cassava for living but income generated from selling the cassava are always low to cater to other basic needs of the family. Thanksto Givedirectly for coming to my aid. I believe that with my transfer from Givedirectly, I will be able to complete my house.

The biggest difference receiving payment from Givedirectly has brought to me is that I am no longer worring about where to generate money to complete my unfinished building and also paid my children school fees. I used my most recent transfer to buy 8 bags of cement to be kept in storage, while I await the next transfer to start plastering my house. The mattress in my room is very old therefore, I bought one 21inches mattress for my room. The remaining cash was used to paid my children school fees. What does receiving this money mean to you?
I want to build a bigger house. My husband has two and we all stayed in the same house but I don't see it to be good for me. With this transfer, I will be able to build my own place for my grandchildren and I.

In the last six months, today brings me so much joy. What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Paying my children fees is the serious hard time I'm faced with right now. I am a mother of four children but they all lived with people in the city(Monrovia) while I'm here working hard to pay their fees, because I feel they are my future and they will helped me when time comes.
