Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I live a stress free life. I was always weighed down by the issue of school fee for my daughter. In most cases she used to be home due to fee and this had a negative impact on her performance but since I settled her fee and always remain in school, I'm hopeful that she will perform better. Apart from that, I strongly believe that I'll get adequate yield from my farm which will be sufficient for my family consumption. My family has been going hungry due to my inability to engage in better farming because of financial challenges.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on paying Secondary school fee for our child (5,000 KES), hire of a tractor for ploughing services (3,500 KES) and purchase of assorted food items.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment when I received my money I felt full of praise and joy in my heart because my family was facing a lot of financial pressure at the time, with School fee needs, land preparation scheduling and financing, as well as other needs and yet we had no money as a family. I thank you very much GD for changing our lives.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
With two children in secondary school, paying school fees is my first priority and then using the rest to grow Watermelon and tomatoes.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
Educating my children through primary school and now seeing them in high school makes me very proud because I believe education opens many doors.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
We recently had an acute draught which killed most of the crops, this has made it very difficult to make ends meet as we do not have any other sources of income.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day has to be in afternoon when I'm resting after spending morning hours in the farm.
