How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago because I am able to serve my visitors better as compared to before when I had to borrow things from the neighborhood for them to be served nicely. I also am better off regarding my dress code since I dress smartly and decent.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
It is very unfortunate that I do not have any new goal being that I have received all the transfers from give directly and I also do not have any source of income. But I am very happy I have managed to achieve some of my dreams.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that my dress code has really changed because I spent most of the transfer to buy decent clothes that I am now putting on, this is after I have out grown most of my clothes and also some where now torned. I am also now very proud because I no longer borrow utensils from my neighbors as I used to do before, when I have visitors I simply get my nice, unique good looking utensils and serve my visitors.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the six months I will now focused on farming being that it is the only way I can generate money, since i have finished receiving money from give directly.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving these transfers is that I have a cow in my home. I have always desired to have at least one type of livestock in my home. Due to my low income from my small business and casual work, I have not been able to have one. When I received these transfers, I used part of it to save which I used to buy a cow. I no longer feel as poor as I was before. This is because in my village, anyone who does not have any kind of livestock is considered very poor and as a result of this life-changing opportunity, I would not want to be in that category anymore.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I want to ensure I pay school fees for my children promptly. I would not feel good when my children are sent home for school fees and they waste time at home while others are studying. I want them to have the best in educations so that when they are done, they will support when they get well-paying jobs.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The other difference in my life is that I have timber which I will use in building a new house. I have been living in a very small house which cannot accommodate my family well. I have been struggling to save for buying building materials but due to my small income from small business and casual work, I have never managed to achieve this goal. I already used my savings on another family demands such as school fees and I no longer have any savings. I am glad I have timber which I will use in building a new house.
Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
In the four months, I wish to buy building materials such as iron sheets and nails which I will use in building a new house. The one I have is too small with 6 iron sheets for the roof. It cannot accommodate my family well and it is a shame especially compared to my neighbours' houses.

I am planning to purchase construction materials so as to build an ironed roofed house because my current grass thatched house is in bad condition especially during rainy season.
