How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
There has not been any great difference in my life over the past four months other than my dress code. These transfers have enabled me to buy new clothes and shoes especially when I am in college where there are a lot of people selling good items around the school at affordable prices. Comparing how I dressed when I joined the college to how I do now, I realize how much I have changed, and I am grateful to Give Directly for the money that made all these possible.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I do not have any new goals at the moment because I am still in college and most of the transfers will still be helping in taking care of my personal needs as has been the case for the most part of this year.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I am in college which I managed to join with the help of an organization that sponsored me by paying most of the fees required. My mother has no income, therefore, cannot support me in any way financially, whether it is by buying the school requirements or just providing for my pocket money. The transfers have been of great help to me as they have always ensured that I get all I need on my own and never got any troubles buying the personal items.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I am set to complete the course I am currently taking on beauty therapy in November, so I will have three extra months to receive these transfers out of school. My plan is to use the transfers sent to me during those months to set up a salon and buy some of the required equipment so that by the time the project ends, I will be having a source of income.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is different than it was four months ago because I can use the GD transfers to comfortably buy my personal effects. Without the transfers, life would be hard for me and I would be stressed up and unable to concentrate on my academics. Thanks to GiveDirectly for the transfers.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, my new goal is to start up my own hairdressing shop. I will be through with my tertiary education by then and through this, I will be able to create a job for myself thus I will be self-employed. From my hairdressing shop, I will be able to earn my own money thus I do not become a burden to my parents.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
In the last four months preceding the current transfer, the biggest difference in my life is being able to learn continuously without being worried about school fees. I have not been sent home for fee arrears unlike before when raising even admission fee to join a college seemed unachievable. From the transfers, I have been paying fees for my studies more easily thus my performance has greatly improved.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect to own a salon. Once I complete my coursework, I will save the transfers that GiveDirectly will send me and use it to start up a salon shop. My training on hairdressing will be in handy in the day to day running of the shop. The salon shop will act as my primary source of livelihood.
