Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My life has changed because I acquired a bed and a mattress. I now sleep very comfortably compared to when I slept on a hard mat. Secondly, I have started to build my permanent house. Currently, I am still sleeping in a leaking thatched house.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I felt very happy because I was going to build a permanent house.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I have spent my first transfer on buying a calf worth UGX 370,000, household goods ( a bed and a mattress) worth UGx 215,000 . The recipient also bought building materials ( 2 trips of sand, 1 trip of bricks, timber, iron sheets and a bag of cement) but did not know how much the helper spent.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means that I will buy abull for ploughing since I sold the one I had for treatment. It is always difficult to dig abigger portion of the garden using hand hoes, therefore there is a need for abull for ploughing. The balance of the money will be used for treatment since Iam not feeling well.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is lunch time. It is the time in the day that I listen to the radio after eating lunch with my family.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Sickness is currently my biggest hardship. It affects me in the way that I cannot at times go to do garden work.
