What does receiving this money mean to you?
"When I receive this money, I plan to return to the hospital to complete my treatment. I was diagnosed with 'liver problem' March of this year at Amadiah hospital in Tubmanburg. I began to receive treatment immediately. However, I could not complete the treatment due lack of finance. We paid L$17,000 ($121.42) on first visit. I am required to make another payment before the second phase of the treatment. I suppose to return to the hospital by September 2021 for further examinations and additional pills. However, because I don't have the needed finance to make the second payment, I have not returned since September. Therefore, when I receive this money, it'll be spent to regain my health."
What is the happiest part of your day?
"The coming of GD to our town gives me great joy. I have been praying to God for some kind of miraculous financial assistance so that I can continue my treatment. I am already aware of the kind of assistance GD gave to our neighbors in Teh Town. iSo when I heard that GD has reached our town, I was extremely happy. I believe that GD will help me with the needed money to complete my treatment."
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"The primary challenge that I am currently faced with is poor health. I was diagnosed with 'liver problem' in March of this year. The hospital advise that I avoid herbal treatments. I cannot eat salt, pepper, etc, except soft rice. I started the treatment in March but could not complete due to lack of finance. When I was on treatment, my condition improved greatly. However, since I stopped the treatment about two months ago, my health condition has steadily worsened."
