How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Currently, I want to have a genuine focus on the farm.  My family and I decided to invest all the money from Givedirectly into the development of our cocoa farm. Additionally, we also planted a few palm trees among the cocoa. I have also embarked on the construction of a permanent farm house to host workers.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
The transparency in Givedirectly works in terms of recruiting potential beneficiaries. They are just one of the many entities that are really improving the lives of people. Givedirectly does not accept gifts from people as an appreciation is what they are not doing well and secondly Givedirectly embarrasses people with too much follow-up even if you are due to go elsewhere, it's difficult to do so when you are expecting them with no specific timeframe.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
In fulfillment of my dream to construct a farmhouse and improve my farm, I used 33,000 LD of my money to purchase four bundles of zinc purposely  to roof the farmhouse and 4,000 LD on transportation. Contractors come from far and near to help with the farming activities, but there's no shelter even when the rain is falling.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
What I am visioning now, was not what I was looking at from the onset. My goal was to make a large cocoa farm, but upon receiving the money, I have decided to put up a farm structure in addition to the farm. This is in addition to my previous goal.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
We have seen other organization work with us in the community, but I have never seen any organisation as professional as Givedirectly. Even those who are unletter know that Givedirectly does not discriminate or exercise partiality in excuting their jobs at all stages of the program. On many occasions, I say this to people and very proud to be a recipient of such a unque project.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My plan was to have a large cocoa farm, but the money was insufficient. Sending me is an opportunity to start enlarging my farm because already I have embarked on the farm house construction. I pay daily hire to help me normally with some of the farming activities.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
My plan for this cash is to have a large crops farm, that will help us lives a better life. Because I'm a pastor, the money I get as stipend from the Church, cannot sustain me and my family nowhere. We have a large farm land, we want to develop it, but no money. And upon receiving this cash, I will used portion of it to develop the land into a cash crops by building animals hut to keep the animals indoor from other harms and the balance will be given to my wife to do business, because she is good in doing business. Because of lack of financial constraints, cause us to just sit at home and look up to God.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Unity in my family has brought more joys to me. And when I woke up in the morning to see my family healthy also brought joy to me. Because we are lack of finance, if any of my children or my wife is ill, where I'm I going to get money from to adhere to it, providing proper medication. Lastly, the present of Givedirectly to my house assuring me of getting cash, that also brought joy to me and my family the most.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Some of our challenges has been financial issues, and we have the strong desire of building. The house we are living in is not ours. And we have been in this town for more than years without putting our own stick down and it also cause from financial problem. It was the Town owner who felt for us and give us this room in her house and we are living in and carrying on our pastoral works in the Church.
