What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on buying steel windows and doors that I fixed on my windows. I also spent part of the money to renovate my house that was not in a very good condition. It is now neat and presentable.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest in my daily life is that I no longer have to walk from one homestead and from one cowshed to another looking for cow dung to smear my house to make it look neat.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to buy hoes for farming and one sack of corn for my family consumption. My children also never had good bedding so I spent part of transfer to buy them one. I am happy they are able to sleep comfortably.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the transfer,I was so happy. I thanked God and GiveDirectly for remembering the poor people like me.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship as at the moment is purchasing enough foodstuffs to feed my family and farming. Farming physically is hard since most to the cattle we used to farm with died during the drought.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is in the evening. This the time I get to rest, count my money from my charcoal burning business and have a family time.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money is a blessing to my family we see our lives changing in this coming months. With the first installment, I am planning to buy foodstuffs at least to feed on and the rest to buy some furniture. The second installment ,I will use on repairing my house to give it a good look just like of my other neighbors and the rest to purchase some livestock.
