What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer on paying school fees for my child who is in Form two in a local secondary school,I will use part of the transfer on building a bigger house as currently its small and my family is big,I will also renovate my toilet as currently it is not in a good condition and I will also buy a dairy cow that I can keep for milk and also it will act as a reminder that I GiveDirectly remembered me at my time of need. I have a child who finished high school and he hasn't joined college so I will use part of the cash also to pay for his enrollment and college fee so that he can learn and get a job after.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement that I am proudest of is that I was able to buy some furniture (chairs) for my house using cash that I got from the sale of my farm produce and for this I am very proud.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face in my life is getting school fees for my kids is not easy and at times it forces me to go and work for someone so that I can get money to pay school fees as my farm is not a reliable source of income as I have to wait for the crops to grow so that I can harvest them and this takes time.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is when I prepare for my kids supper in the evening by cooking for them chicken, this makes me happy as my kids love eating chicken and I tell them that they are my "guest" as I don't have to wait for visitors so that I can prepare a nice meal.
