How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than if I had not received cash transfer in that, before, getting UGX 5,000 in a day was very difficult but the grinding mill is giving me more than UGX 5,000 every day. My self esteem has been boosted.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Give Directly has empowered the rural poor through sensitization and giving unconditional cash transfer which has elevated most household. I do not see what they have not done well.

I spent my second cash transfer worth UGX 1,633,000 as a top up to the first cash transfer of UGX 1,700,000 for buying agrinding mill that will act as an Income generating project for my household.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is that, now I'm going to farm in time because I own my bulls and oxen not like before when I had to wait until the owns have finished to plough.Before I would plough when the ground is hard and dry.

The moment I received the money ,I became very happy because I had never held such an amount of money.

I have spent my first transfer to purchase 2 bulls at 1,400,000ugx,an oxen for farming at 150,000ugx, I bought a mattress at 80,000ugx and clothes at 70,000ugx

I intend to use the transfers for building permanent iron-roofed house.

The happiest part of the day is morning, since i wake up while not stressed.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is lack of land for farming. The land i have is too small to accommodate large scale agriculture.
