Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new additional goal for my life for the next four months is to buy another dairy cow. This will enable me to cut the daily cost of buying milk. I will be in a position to get money by selling surplus milk.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is doing horticulture farming without many problems. I depend on casual jobs in the village to get the money. The money that I always get is so small and can only gather for basic needs. I was not in a position to buy seeds and fertilizers to use on my farm. I used to cultivate a small piece of land because I did not have money to hire a tractor. My family could run short of food even before the following harvesting season. When I started to receive the money from GiveDirectly I was in a good position to cultivate my farm on time and buy the seeds and fertilizers that were required. Currently, I get a pamper harvest and my family no longer lack food to eat. I sell the surplus at the market to earn an income to meet other additional needs including paying school fees for my children. I am so happy because GiveDirectly has brought change to us and the people in our community.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I will have saved enough money to buy a dairy breed that is improved and starts a zero-grazing project. The project will generate income through the sale of milk.

Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My additional goal for my life for the next four months is to buy a cow which should be a dairy one for this case. The cow will provide milk for the family and this means I will save money that was first channeled to this commodity and use it for other use. Again the sale of milk means that my income generation will have been expanded.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is that I began keeping poultry and I have seen tremendous income from this activity. The chicken has supplemented my income sources since I have been selling eggs and also chicken. Additionally, the chicken has provided good health to my family whenever they feed on egg products. I am no longer in financial crisis since I am able to sort out myself from this poultry farming.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In six months' time, I will have bought an extra cow making the number to two. This is a long-time investment that will play an important role in providing milk for the family. I am sure that milk will also be sold so that we can raise some money for family use. Again, milk is good for health especially for my kids. Selling milk will also mean that I have added more income to m family and therefore I will not be faced with the financial crisis.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different because meeting my family needs have become easy. In my mind, it is very peaceful because I don't have to feed my family on credit. Previously, I had a lot of debts in almost every shopkeeper I know. I would always be forced to acquire items on credit all the time to avoid my family sleeping hungry. My salary was hardly enough but the projects that I have started using the transfers are now making ends meet.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My next goal is to keep buying sheep every month in order to raise money towards a cow. I will eventually sell sheep to buy a heifer. In the long run, I intend to get a dairy cow so that I can be making money from this kind of farming.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I spent the money I received for the last four months on improving my home. I have bought building materials to make a concrete floor to offer me some good living environment. The dust that was there, was always hectic to handle. In many instances, my children would suffer from time to time from diseases such as common colds because of the dust. since initiating these improvements on my house, I have seen a reduction in the disease prevalence and I feel good for the home improvement that I have achieved.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
Owning a heifer is the most important thing that I am working towards. In the next six months, I will have bought it from the investments I am making in sheep. This will lead to strong financial capabilities because of dairy farming. Dairy farming in my area is profitable and having this will secure my future finances.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Life is different in that I no longer struggle like I used to do in the last four months. We could only get enough food for the day and nothing left for any family projects. I also do not have any more debts accrued on me which had been normal with me four months a go and beyond. This has given me peace of mind and made me happier than I was four months a go.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have no additional goal for the next four months except to bring our newly built house to its completion. We still have some work to do with roofing and purchasing of furniture that will be used in our new home. I plan to accumulate more funds in the next four moths to help bring this work to its conclusive end. I also intend to buy more goats for fattening and later reselling them to make more profits.

The last four months has brought tremendous changes in my life. My newly constructed house is nearing its completion. I used the transfers to purchase building materials that I had not obtained and this enabled us build the house that had been brought to a halt due to financial challenges. We also have an additional asset in form of a goat, thanks to GiveDirectly transfers. This has been the biggest difference in our daily life in the last four months.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months I expect to have two dairy cows which can produce enough milk for both family consumption and sale of the surplus to help raise higher income for the family. The milk produced shall be sold to the milk buying companies where we can get monthly income from it. The monthly income shall assist us a lot in implementing other income generating projects that will help us run the family well.
