What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent 30000 KES of my third transfer on a hand cart and the rest on a donkey. I thought of investing in the hand cart and the donkey since it is the most appropriate means of transporting agricultural goods from the farms to the market in a place where I live. I am currently using them to transport for persons' goods and farm products to the markets at affordable cost, hence from it, I am able to generate daily income that caters for my household needs.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent a larger part of my transfer to buy a sheep which I have kept as an investment. I also bought a cow which helps me in ploughing our farm. Besides that, I built a poultry house and started poultry farming which will earn me a daily income from the sale of eggs. The remaining part of transfers was spent on planting tomatoes and onions and purchasing solar lamp which has enabled my child to study for longer hours at night.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly does not involve community leaders in their selection of beneficiaries which makes the process to be fair.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My children can now read for longer hour in the night using the solar lamp.I can now secure my poultry from theft or getting lost because of the poultry house which I built.
