How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been. Currently the floor of my house is cemented and I have a steel door. Not only do I find it easy to clean my house but also have been spared from chocking in the dust from time to time. Moreover my house is more secured because of the steel door.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
What I love about GiveDirectly is that upon being absorbed into the system, the transfer came on time thus keeping their promise. this made me actualize all my plans on time. Nothing went wrong.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent part of my second transfer on investing in a coffee plantation. After three years' time, I expect to sell the products hence getting profit from it. Besides, I also constructed a large house that I divided into three segments which included: a kitchen, cowshed, and chicken coop thus having all those under the same roof. This has gone a long way in protecting my livestock from perennial thieves.
