What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer to purchase more stock for my shop, I sell different kinds of household items. I invested part of the transfer on rice farming business.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different having received the transfers,through my retail shop and rice farming business I have been able to save enough to enroll myself into a teacher's college because I had always wanted to do that but didn't have the financial ability.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly has done well in giving us unconditional money transfers which have improved our living standards. I have not seen anything they have not done well.

I started a business of selling food produce and other household items, I also invested some of my money on farming which I believe will sustain my family financially.

I used to be idle because I didn't have money to start a business, fortunate after receiving transfer I started a small business which is doing great I can support my family fully without borrowing money.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer to start a grocery shop as a source of livelihood to support myself and my three children, so that later on I may even move out of my brother's home and at least rent my house somewhere.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am proudest of is being able to provide food for my children by doing casual work around the village.

The biggest hardship I am facing is how to adequately provide for my children, because sometimes what I get is not enough.

The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I see my children, and they are happy to be around me.
