Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I have a new goal to improve my involvement in farming. I have a plan to add the size of the land under cultivation and through this I am assured to keep the food security at bar and also produce some surplus for sale.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
On receiving the transfers from GiveDirectly, I tried hard to see that I make changes in how things were in our household. I picked on projects which came to completion later after receiving the second transfer. The biggest difference which stands out in my daily life is the presence of a cow I bought. We had been spending a lot of money buying milk from the neighborhood but it became the story of the past after receiving the transfers. My children are now enjoying the plenty milk produced from our own cow which to us is way too cheap compared to the past.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect to have started farming. It is my plan that venture first into subsistence facing and when the food we are going to produce will be enough, I can later shift my attention to some commercial farming.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
When I was in class 8 right before I sat for my KCPE ( kenya certificate of primary education), I gave birth and life became unbearable. I didn't get support from my parents and that was the biggest hardship I've faced in life. No one was willing to assist and I had to drop out of school.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Morning is the happiest part of my day. It is always refreshing to wake up feeling better and energized for day's activities.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
Am planning to spend my transfer on home improvement and expansion of business. I'd wish to purchase household items and furnitures. For my business, this transfer will boost capital. I normally buy and sell cattle around this area and with GD cash, I will engage more efficient in it.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
Putting up a boutique back then in the year 2011 is an achievement am proudest of in my life. It enabled me to save enough money that saw my children get quality education. They are progressing well in life and am proud as a parent.
