How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was on the school campus watering my garden when I heard people from my town yelling that Give Directly has sent their transfers. Within that time my phone was not with me, so I have to run home for my phone. Upon getting my phone, I hurriedly ran to the network place to check my inbox. As soon as I got there, the transfer was already on my phone. I felt very happy at the moment, because I needed money to pay my daughter graduation fees and to take my sick nephew to the hospital.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Before I started receiving my transfer, life has been so hard, I have to care for my children and send them to school. I found it hard as a single parent because my husband has been seriously ill but with the help of Give Directly cash transfer, I was able to regain my hope and my children and I are living happily.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I should benefit from this cash transfer, I intend completing the house I have started building.
I am the Principal for the public school here, since my house got broken due to heavy storm, I have since moved in the Town's guest house.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the wake of all these health complications, seeing myself alive gives me the greatest joy. At certain part of this year I became partially paralyzed, but by the help of some herbal treatment, I'm once again walking perfectly.

The current challenge I'm faced with is my health. I have been ill for a protracted period now with several complications, but due to the lack of money, I have been able to seek advance medical treatment.
