I spent 34000 KES of my first lumpsum transfer on 2 oxen, 9500 KES on timbers for constructing a boat, I paid school fees for my 3 children in a primary school with 1700 KES and I spent the remaining 4800 KES on a bed.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is the livestock that I have acquired that have now facilitated my farm operations. I can now feed my household members better since I am now food secure, after a bumper harvest I experienced last season.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer on renovating my house by buying ten bags of cement and sand that can be used in plastering it, I will spend part of the transfer on buying two bulls that I can use in ploughing my farm, I will use part of the transfer on building a toilet and I will buy other materials like another boat that I can use in my fishing business. The remaining amount I will save so that when my child who is in primary school finally does his exams and pass, then I will pay school fees for him so that he can join secondary school.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement that I am proudest of is that I have been able to buy five cows using money that I got from my fishing business and it has also enabled me to build my current house.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face in my life is that farming has not been the same for me ever since four of my cows died due to drought in our area hence this has made us not to plough our farm easily like other farmers making us to plant crops late.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is when I go out to the lake to do fishing in the morning, this makes me happy as I am able to suppliment my farm income and support my family.
