Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
My new goal is to own small livestock at some point.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The biggest difference in my daily life is that my stress is reduced since GD payments just made it possible for our Solar lighting services by Safaricom Company to be resumed and our children are able to study for long hours in the night, unlike the time when the service got discontinued due to non-payment of the daily Installments since life had become more difficult financially. In addition, my family is no longer spending much on kerosene as was the case when the family went back to using kerosene lamps.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months I expect my life to change for the better, though my priority is our children's education.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face right now is lack of enough money to pay school fees for my children. If I am unable to raise the required amount they may have to drop out of school.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is around noon when I am babysitting my grandchild. She always makes me very happy.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to buy cement and sand which I will use to plaster the walls of my house. It is in a bad state.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is having bought a sofa set using money that I saved after doing odd jobs in various farms.
