How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
In our family, we no longer lack as it used to be before getting this money and now days we have a strong cooperation between me and my husband.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has really brought back our hope and happiness by giving us free money which is helping us to develop hence having a happy family.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used 700,000/= to plant sugar canes, bought household materials which costed 270,000/=, we bought coffee of 300,000/= and the remaining balance is what we remained with as our upkeep in the family.

The biggest hardship I have faced in life is having neighbours who are my enemies. They hate me yet I did nothing.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is afternoon because that's when am having fun with friends as well as sharing my challenges with them to look for solutions.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
To me receiving this money means improving my standards of living, through buying land to carry out commercial farming thus earning income.
