Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
It was one afternoon when I was underbrushing my plantain farm,an alert came to my phone. As for me, I am not educated so I took the phone to my husband who was under the kitchen for him to check if the money has been transferred. After going through the message he began to smile. Right there, I knew that it was the transfer that has been sent. Without waiting for him to tell me that the money has been transferred, I was happily singing and dancing before he told me that the money has been sent by GiveDirectly.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
In my life, since I was a child, I have not lived in a house covered with zinc. I can therefore say, living in a zinc house is the biggest difference in my daily life since I started recieving payments from GiveDirectly. I thank GiveDirectly for this opportunity. I am going to make maximum use of it.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have decided to use my most recent transfer to buy zinc, nails, and planks. The house we are currently living in is in deplorable condition. My husband and I have been thinking of building a new house before GiveDirectly had come to register us. Now that I have been sent this amount of money, I will buy zinc, nails, and planks for the roof. I thank God that I will now be living in a house that is covered with zinc instead of tatch.

My big hard time I am facing right now is money.
