What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent a larger portion of my third transfer on opening a shop and used part of it in the completion of my poultry house.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I now have a source of income from the shop I opened up thus I can easily meet my needs.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Gd does well by giving cash to the needy and letting them decide on what to do with the money. This has really improved their lives. On the other hand I feel Gd should reward those who spent the money well.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
Our first plan is to use part of the transfer to start poultry keeping activity, with local chickens. Our second plan is to use another part of the transfer, to build a house, because this one is in a bad condition, and might fall down soon. Lastly, we plan to use the remaining amount to plough our farms, for food security.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement we are very proud of is, having educated our daughter who has completed her high school, in a national school, despite the challenges we have faced.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship we have faced is providing food for our family, on a daily basis, due to unreliable source of income.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evenings, when we are having our evening prayers after supper, before we go to bed.
