What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on paying school fees and purchasing all the requirements that were needed in school for my orphan grandchildren and orphan step children who were all under my care. It has been a burden raising these children since the death of my daughter and my co-wife. With the unlimited needs that human beings have, and having a very big number of people to take care of, I underwent a lot of frustrations that almost drove me mad. Any time I thought of the miserable life we lived, I regretted having been born. Am so happy that GiveDirectly enabled me overcome all these and made me long to live more.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfers as I no longer undergo frustrations of looking for food for my huge family and meeting all their daily needs.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly is so far the best organisation I have ever seen. Its criteria for selection of recipients and the manner in which it sends out transfers without involving third parties make it shine above all NGOs.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
Since I am taking care of 6 total orphans, receiving second transfer was a blessing to us; I bought for them clothes, school uniforms, and books and I am so much relieved-they dress up well, study well and eat well as opposed to before. A part from this, I am also motivated to build for them their own house which they will be using for their studies.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving transfers from Give Directly is that I no longer struggle hard, tilling peoples' farm at a meager salary to cater for my household needs. I have adequate stock of food and feeding has never been a challenge to us since then; our health has improved!
