What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on building a four room house since the one I was staying in was very miserable and disgusting.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that I now have an income generating activity of selling alcohol and my standards of living have greatly improved.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give Directly does well to give phones to recipients and to use them to send transfers using mobile money. What GD does not do well is making the programme short and leaving out village leaders.

I spent my second transfer on buying a cow so that I can be taking some milk and sell it later in future

The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am able to afford things I couldn't afford before give directly.

I used my first transfer to buy iron sheets, cement for constructing an iron roofed house since the house I was staying in is small and grass thatched.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt very happy when I received the money however I could not show excitement for fear that someone could break into my house in the night and steal my phone before I had withdrawn.

I am planning to spend my transfer on building a house because its too small for my family and also start up a business for daily income.

The achievement I am proudest of is my metal rooftop house from grass thatched.

The biggest hardship I have faced in my life is loosing my father who used to support financially.

The happiest part of my day is in the afternoon trying to earn something for the day with my wife.
