What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent most of my third transfer to buy solar panel and solar battery which I use in lighting up my house. This has relieved me the burden of buying kerosene on a daily basis. I also saved some amount which I intend to use in starting a business soon.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The difference in my life is that, I no longer spend money to buy kerosene on a daily basis and also am sure of starting a business of my choice as soon as am ready. All this would not have been possible without the transfers.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly did well in giving unconditional cash transfers and letting th e recipients to make their own decisions on how best to spent the transfer. I have not seen anything GiveDirectly did not do well.
