How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been without Give Directly cash transfer in that, life is less s tressfull since I can now make daily income to meet family needs.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give Directly has empowered the poor people by Giving unconditional cash transfer. I do not see what Give Directly has not done well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
When I received my second cash transfer worth 1,633,000ugx, I bought a bull and a heifer at 1,000,000ugx, I rented a business place at 120,000ugx, I bought the stock of 300,000ugx, I bought clothes for my parents at 120,000ugx, brick making 80,000ugx, transport 6,000ugx, sugar at 5,000ugx and bread of 2,000ugx.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I have got a peace of mind because I have been in position to get back my two gardens, that were taken as a result of the loan that we failed to clear. I have also got good bedding's for my children.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my transfer I became very happy, having it in mind that this money was to enable me get back my gardens.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent 1,500,000UGX of my first transfer for clearing a loan we got, for paying my husbands university tuition and the remaining money I bought bedding's for the children.

Receiving this money means I will buy a hand loom machine to continue with my tailoring skills

The happiest part of my day is in the evenings when my children have eaten and are going to bed in good health condition

The biggest hardship I face is taking care of the children since my husband does not fully support me.
