How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have no new goals, I dream of building a house, which is what am investing my transfers into.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I am a farmer who has been struggling to build a house but through this givedirectly program, I can build a house and send my children to school which brings me so much joy. I no longer worry about finding money to build a house neither to send my children to school. Givedirectly has taken that burden off my shoulder. Givedirectly has not done any worse in my community.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought one bundle of zinc and used 7000.00LD to pay my daughter's school fees and nails.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I'm successful to receive the Givedirectly cash transfer I intend to send my children to school so that they can achieve quality and higher education to be a help in society. My children have dropped out of school 1 year now because the school that is in the town that I could afford is an elementary school. And they have promoted to Junior class . Though I make farm but the money I earned from the farm is what I used on food. As a young man I have to dropped out of school due to lack of financial support .I don't want that to happen to my children. I will appreciate any help from Give Directly to improve my livelihood.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last months what has brought me joy or happiness was in the month of June when my wife give birth safely .I was happy because my wife have been experiencing pain throughout her pregnancy so the fact that she was able to give birth safely has brought me joy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship I'm facing now is lack of financial constraints to educate my children. I was 15 years old when I started making farm.Though the farm work is very difficult but that's the only means to earned money to support my family. Seeing my kids not been able to further their education is really painful put I don't have money to send them to school.
