From my third transfer, I bought steel door at 6,500 KES, bought 2 windows at 5,350 KES, spent 3,500 to pay laborers finishing my house, bought window panes at 2,500 KES, spent 350 KE to buy window handles, bought sofa set at 13,000 KES, spent 200 KES on transportation of sofa set, built a pit latrine at 2,500 KES, bought 4 iron sheets at 2,000 KES, bought building nails at 450 KES, bought timber at 600 KES, bought 2 bags of cement at 1,500 KES, bought murram at 2,500 KES, spent 3,000 KES on transportation of murram, and the remaining 4,050 KES, I spent on food for my family.
Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
My new goal is to have piped water in the compound or buy a bigger water tank.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I moved to my own compound, I no longer rely on anybody for help and also live in a bigger house. I would not have done all this without the transfer.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
l spent the transfer to mattress worth 4000 kshs, l also spent 2000 kshs for funeral program the remaining balance l spent to buy food.
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
l am planning to build my own home since l am still staying in my father in-law's home.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer on building a bigger house and build a toilet as I will buy ten iron sheets that will be used in building the house and the remaining amount I will spend on paying school fees for my children who are in secondary school.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement that I am proudest of is that I was able to buy one bull that I have been using in ploughing my farm using money that I got from our village lending and saving scheme called SILK.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face in my life is that getting school fees for my children is not easy for me and this at times forces me to go out and seek for loans from my neighbours who at times fail to assist me.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is when I wake up in the morning and sweep my compound. This makes me happy as when I receive visitors,they are pleased to be in a clean home.
