Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal for the next four months is to continue saving the money from the sales of my farm produce to pay school fees for my child who is joining form one next year. I am so happy because I received the money from GiveDirectly every month which enables me to save.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer school is that I am in a position to pay school fees for my children on time. I depend on casual jobs in the village to earn an income. The amount of money I get through these casual jobs is so small and could only gather for the basic needs of the family. My children used to be sent home to collect the school fees and this was affecting their performance in that they could spend much time at home. I joined the merry go round group that we have started in our village and the savings from the group help me to pay the school fees on time. My children are no longer sent home to collect their school fees as usual and this had led to an improvement in their performance in school compared to the previous term. I have devoted much of my time to do my own activities at home and I no longer have much stress. I am so happy because I have peace of mind.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I would have saved some money in the merry go round group that we have started in our village to pay for the school fees on time. I will also be in a position to buy fertilizers and seeds to use on my farm.

Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My additional goal for the next four months is to be able to continue contributing towards the merry go round without fail. This is a very good savings plan that will see us accumulate more money in the long run that will enable us pay school fees for one of our children who is joining secondary school next year.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the merry go round that I have been able to take part in all this while without fail. This has seen me accomplish many things that I never thought I would accomplish anytime soon. The most recent of my accomplishments in the last four months is the newly constructed house. With support from my husband who also receives this transfer, we were able to build a house for our children who are at the age of undergoing circumcision and would require their own separate room since they shall have graduated to adulthood. This money was so resourceful in that we were able to do this with it. We look forward to even accomplishing much more bigger things going forward.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect tremendous changes in my life. I expect that by the end of the said six months I shall be more financially independent owing to the investments that I have already made and that which I will make and which will see me earn more income for the family. I am currently thinking about improving on my poultry keeping project by buying a chicken wire and increasing the number of chicken that I keep.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how four months ago in that my family can now afford a well-balanced meal. Before I would have to overwork myself to put food on the table. We in most cases ate just one meal in a day which was not healthy at all. I am glad because this is not the case anymore. Apart from this, I have started building a house for my children. Generally, life has become easier and manageable nowadays.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I do not have any new or additional goal for the next four months since I first want to finish building a house for my children. After completing this, I will start saving part of my transfers so that I will use it to pay school fees for my son who will be joining high school next year.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have been able to start building a house for my children. My eldest son is in class eight and will undergo circumcision this year. As per our tradition, he will cease sleeping in the kitchen as he is considered an adult. As a way of preparing for this, I settled on building him a house which he will be sharing with his siblings. The only part remaining is to fix doors and windows. I am glad since I was able to achieve this by using the savings I was given from our table banking group.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months of my life, I believe that my living standards will have improved. First, I will have finished building a house for my children. I am also optimistic that my son will be doing well in school because I will have paid most of his school fees. This means that he will not be sent back home for school fees more often. I thank Give Directly for their financial help and support. I will continue praying for them so that they can continue helping other people too.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
This transfer has helped me to pay school fees for my sister. She has come to stay with us because I can afford to pay her school fees. This a big relieve for my parents who have been struggling to bring us up. Because of GiveDirectly, I am making an impact in my sister's life and that of my parents by enabling her to get an education. I also afford to provide for my family. I used to rely on menial jobs on people's farms. Getting food was not really easy as some seasons were dry and no one could hire laborers.we could not find work to do for wages and in those days, food would be very little in the house. Since I started to receive this money, those lean seasons are taken care of. I am so happy because I can provide well for the family.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the nxt four I plan to continue saving in a merry go round group in my village in order to expand my chicken keeping business.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is my having my hildren live in their own house. We used to share the same room because I could not raise money to build another one for them. This came with a lot of difficulties since they were now grown up. Furthermore, the room I had was not conducive for their studies. I wanted them to be in a room of their own where they can make time for studying. This was only possible whrn GiveDirecrtly came. I build a new house for them that they use for studies and even sleep in.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I plan to save money for a child by continuing to save in a merry go round group. This is because he will be joining a secondary school next year. School fees will become a real and a huge expenditure in my family. That is why I have to plan for it over the next six months. My main aim is to use the cash I receive on savings to enable me to pay up when the time comes.
