What did you spend your second transfer on?
I bought two oxen at 30,000 KES to help me in ploughing my farm, a hand-drawn plough at 7,500 KES, a steel door for my son's house at 7,500 KES and paid 1,000 KES to the fundi to have it fixed. I also bought a goat at 2,000 KES and paid school levies (primary school) for 1,500 KES.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Due to my age I was not able to do proper farming using common hoes and jembes but now I have two oxen and a plough which I use to plough a bigger acreage of my farm and thus increase my farm output. This has made feel secure in terms of my harvest.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer on buying four bulls for ploughing my farm as I have been using my hands to plough, I will spend part of the transfer on paying school fees for my child who will be sitting for his exams for primary school this year and the remaining amount I will spend it on expanding my house by building a bigger one.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am proudest of is that I was able to sell produce from my farm and used the cash to buy four goats that I keep for meat and milk in my home.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face is that ploughing my farm with my hands is becoming difficult as I am no longer young and energetic so I am really straining to do so so that I can plan crops.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is when I go to the market in the afternoon to sell groceries like tomatoes, kales and some fish. This makes me happy as at the end of the day I will be able to get some money that I can use to buy food and other items that I lack at home.
