How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Life is different in that I now have an Iron sheet roofed house which is a better protection from the rains, unlike the grass thatched house which used to leak alot when it rains inconveniencing sleep at night. This makes me happy.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done well giving us money directly that enabled build houses and acquired household items like mattresses, utensils, bought livestock, pay school for children.There's nothing it hasn't done well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
My second transfer was spent to pay school fees, bought household items like mattresses, a bed, then bought building materials such as cement, bricks, iron sheets, timber to construct a house.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I have started an iron roofed house which I was longing to build, I have also own better utensils and beddings.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I recieved my fransfer, I became very happy that Give Directly has truely kept its promise to me.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer for starting to build an iron roofed house and paying my son's school fees plus buying requirements. I also bought house hold items(beddings plus untensils) and a solar.

Receiving this money means building iron roofed and buying oxen for ploughing.

The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I am able to make ends meet.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is lack of stable source of income for sustaining my family.I depend on casual Labour.
