How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My plan or goal is to build a house when ever I have money to do it and fortunately GD gave me money through their assistance program The first money that I did receive impressed me to make a decision to decide to build a house
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Before then, I was selling for people on commission, but since Givedirect came and started giving me money through their assistance program, I am now selling for myself and I am capable of doing anything for myself.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt very happy and privilege the moment when I received the transfer. Many people were registered but were unqualified to get this transfer, but I was eligible to get the money to improve my livelihood so that made me very happy.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving transfer is that, my life has improved greatly. I have been through a lot, before receiving this money, I have been selling for people to earned a living for my daughter and I. The transfer has helped me now to start a business of my own and I no longer sell for anyone, but sell for myself.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent my recent transfer to paid my children school fees and increase my existing business .

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Three years ago me and my husband divorced, and my two children are currently in Monrovia which I haven't done anything for. I will send some money inorder to help with school fees. I am also involved in selling fish around, I will increase the quantity of fish that I sell on a daily basis.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happy because I have life and I am strong to move from place to place. I am also joyful because GD staff is interviewing me today. I know that success is around the corner for me.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Currently I owe people in my community. I credited some money inorder to start business, but the business wasn't successful. I am in a serious worry as a result the payment. I don't have money now, business is not really going on well.
