What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent all my first transfer on paying for medical bill which was my main challenge. I have been admitted in the hospital for a while due to long term illness but hoping to get discharged soon when I get better.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt very happy when I received the money because I was stuck with hospital bills which I could not afford on my own. Thanks to GiveDirectly.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to pay fees for my sons and daughters who are in secondary schools and colleges. Some of the transfers will be used to inject more capital into my spouse's business, she has a small hotel and a shop where she sells fast moving consumer goods.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is having educated very many children some who are mine and others who have different parents. I love education and that is why when I educate a child I feel proud.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face right now is lack of enough money to pay school fees for my children and those who I sponsor. I fear that I may stop paying school fees for some of them and this will be detrimental to their future.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening especially when I am evaluating whatever tasks I accomplished in the afternoon.
